We built SERA on a simple belief: the data your home generates is yours alone. We will never sell it, share it, or use it to show you advertisements. No exceptions.
The one cookie we use
SERA sets a single, first-party session cookie when you sign in. This cookie is strictly necessary — it keeps you authenticated so the thermostat app can recognise your account and respond to your commands. No analytics cookies. No advertising cookies. No third-party cookies of any kind.
How we use your data
When you first set up SERA, we use information about your home — its size, location, and your preferred temperatures — to build your initial schedule. That is the extent of it. Your data is never shared with, sold to, or accessible by any third party.
No third-party tracking
There are no third-party tracking scripts on this site or in the SERA app. We do not use advertising networks, data brokers, or behavioural analytics platforms. What happens in your home stays in your home.
